I have a question about training a cat?

We recently introduced a 2 yr old male cat to our 5 year old female and 8 year old male. They are all neutered/spayed. The older male is as gentle as can be, but the younger male keeps trying to dominate him, mounting him and biting him. We have tried yelling at him, putting him in timeout in a dark closet, even squirting him with a squirt gun but he still won’t leave our old guy alone. Has anyone had any success training these territorial domination disputes out of cats, and what were your methods?

Thanks

i had to deal with that with my 2 cats. every time i saw the new cat do anything to the old cat, i sprayed him with a water bottle until he walked away. this went on for about a week, and then he stopped.

im not sure if this will help, but i know that if you pick him up and hold him, he won’t do it again. just hold him, even if he is squirming, hissing, everything. put him down when he is 2 seconds away from attacking you and your face. my best friend did this for her cats, and this worked well for her.
