I’m tired of litter, small, cost, scooping. My one cat is a complete dumba** and i have 4 cats total. Any suggestions are helpful =) thanks.

You people dont have to be as*holes, its a serious question because it can be done. Don’t tell me i should have cats if i’m tired of scooping litter. Or spending money on it. If people who have kids are tired of picking up after them does it mean they shouldn’t have them? no. It simply means they would like for them to take care of themselves if possible. ANd its possible.

My cat was toilet trained for almost 4 years; however whenever she wasn’t in the mood she would go next to the toilet. There is a plastic thing you can buy to put in the toilet to hold the litter (make sure its flushable) to encourage them to use it. I finally realized my cat wasn’t happy and went back to a litter box. She now uses Swheat Scoop litter which doesn’t smell or need a liner and is flushable. She is much happier.

why don’t you try to pick the cat up when you catch them using the restroom and then lead them to where you want them to go to bathroom. it normally works on our puppies and they are now full gown and let us know when they need to go outside.

They make liter box inserts, you insert it in the toilet whenever you don’t have to go. They go in there, then eventually you take it out.
That is how cats are trained to use toilets.
Though my dad’s cat somehow learned to use it himself, which is weird to me, but that’s how.

cats dont pee in toilets… its NOT natural.
There is actually a book on this subject go to your local barnes & Noble and ask them about it. I saw one about it 2 years ago. Also try surfing the web like, yahoo, dogpile, ask jeeves, and ebay.

if you have four cats you need at least 2 litter trays as cats are fussy and will not use a tray that smells of someone else, you need to keep trays clean.

to train a cat to use the litter box is easy if you show it to the cat but to use the toilet needs extra training and understanding from your cat.My cat seeing me to use the toilet uses it but not continually.I do not know ways to teach it use it continually

Owning a pet comes with responsibility. I have 2 cats and every day I have to clean their litter box and so do you. Oh and by the way if you don’t like the smell you should of thought of that before getting 4 cats.

the cats pee where she smells ammonia like fumes…well if she pee some where in the house…clean it imediately and get rid of the smell..coz if u doin…she will pee at the same place next time…
Infact u dont need to train them..they usually know…coz i have 3 cats n they pee in toilet …from the first day i got them…

it’s difficult with 4 cats but not impossible, you must buy two boxes with sand, your cat will learn easily which is for it. Only two cats per box ok? good luck!
