I have a 4 year old cat and an 11 week old kitten. The kittens rubs his face into the cat and the cat licks his ears one minute, then the next they r fighting. Sometimes the cat pins the little one down and bites him until he squeals. Is this normal? Should I leave them alone together? I know cat is still getting used to kitten but I’m scared he may hurt him. Thanks
I have 3 year and half old cats. We found a stray 8 week old kitten and brought it home till we could get in touch with our local shelter. It was bad for a while not only did my cats attack the kitten at times but they also started to fight with each other. The best way to get them over this is to put the kitten in a crate and let them get to know each other that way. So they are both safe. Also make sure you show the older cat alot of love when you are around the kitten so that she knows you still love her. It may take a while but they will soon be friends.
